Just make small talk tbh like whenever someone New starts at work I just ask their name and like ask if they go to school and what they wanna do with their life and stuff like just make casual talk don’t overthink

I think it’s possible and it could be that you just haven’t found /the one/ I honestly don’t recommend staying in something where you don’t feel it growing

Short answer: yes

Long answer: for me it all comes down to if you GENUINELY fuck with it like ice def come across mixed people who only claim their otherness bc it has been cool on the internet to not be white. Like for me even tho I don’t look Asian I def was raised culturally Asian and by an Asian mother. Like I def can relate more with the way Asian kids grew up vs black kids in the household but def outside my house and in the world I’m recieved and treated like a black woman like I have my privileges as someone who is mixed but hella disadvantages for appearing only black and being dark skinned. I also know a few people who are like 25% black who don’t feel comfortable claiming it like not bc they’re ashamed but bc they don’t know what it’s like to be black bc they have white passing privilege or nonblack poc privilege. Like they’ve never experienced racism in the same way a black person would so they don’t feel entitled to say things like the n word or weigh in on Black oppression bc they’re not treated like their black. They of course are allies to the black community but yeah. But these are just a few examples based on my personal experiences and those around me
